Eriez Deep Reach Separators were developed to remove tramp iron from heavy flows of materials likely to bridge or choke Magnetic Grates.
Effective removal of ferrous contaminants is obtained as the material passes between two large permanent magnets. The field generated by these magnets completely fills the housing, penetrating the product and pulling out the iron. Twin access doors enable the collected metal to be removed.
Eriez Deep Reach Separators are of stainless steel construction with quick release doors for easy access, and are only 250mm high. They have central and side deflectors which direct iron towards the magnet faces.
